When measuring up for the curtain, please remember to measure to where the track will be going, not just the aperture.
All measurements must be stated in millimeters
eg. a 2 meter wide doorway would be entered as 2000

Tracking is required when the PVC curtain is being fitted on a brand new installation, or when the existing tracking is no longer functional.
For situations where the existing tracking is suitable and you are simply replacing worn or damaged PVC then you would not require extra tracking.
Bolt-on is the recommended finish for heavy FLT areas. The hook-on system is easily maintained if you want to remove your strips to replace or clean them or maybe even to remove them completely during the summer months.
What’s going through it?
This is important to enable us to quote for the correct size of PVC and track system. Generally where there is going to be heavy fork lift usage we would recommend 300 x 5 Ribbed, 400 x 4 or 400 x 6 Ribbed with a bolt on finish. Also where the opening is exposed to the elements, particularly in windy locations you should consider the thicker grades.
200 x 2 is ideal for small doors in particular where there is mainly pedestrian access.
300 x3 is great for doors up to about 3 meters high at 42% overlap. Above this, you should consider either increasing the overlap to 100% or going for the thicker grades of PVC.
When ordering a PVC strip door please state whether you would like enough material for a Maximum Overlap
Which is 100% for Bolt-on fixing and 80% for Hook-on
A minimum overlap
Which is 50% for Bolt-on fixing and 40% for Hook-on
Select the type of plate you require.
These supplied for the end 2 strips of the curtain, to warm drivers where the edges are.
PLUS we are now offering Safety ‘DayGlo’ strip as an alternative. This is an excellent health and safety innovation as it will highlight the door edges in the event of a power cut or low light levels.

Suitable structure – It is important that there is a suitable structure to attach the curtain to. Roller shutter boxes are usually not suitable. You should look for a joist or a lintel. For Example a 3500mm x 3500mm door in 300mm x 3mm plastic will weigh about 75 Kg with the tracks and plates.
