Sliding Plastic Curtains

Here at plastic-curtains.co.uk we understand that no matter how much you love the versatility of your plastic curtains, and how easy they are to pass through, sometimes however, you just want to get them out of the way, which is where our sliding plastic curtains come in.

Whether it’s to move large or delicate objects through, or simply to open up the space, there are times when sliding plastic strip curtains maybe the best option.

Not only will this mean you’ll have unrestricted traffic flow but you’ll also reduce the risk of damaging the curtains and the objects passing through them. This in turn will help reduce repair and maintenance costs, enhance visibility, and improve overall safety.

There is some important information to be aware of though. The sliding system generally slides in metre sections; therefore if you have a 2 metre wide curtain that you want to slide out of the way, you need a 2 metre gap for it to slide into.

We do realise, however, that this is not always practical or feasible, therefore our engineers designed a clever bi-parting system. This consists of two sliding tracks which enable each side to slide behind the other. It can even be manufactured so that in the above example of a 2 metre wide curtain, each 1 metre piece can slide out of the way.
